Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra artiste Mrinal Kanti Dutta no more

Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra artiste and veteran freedom fighter Mrinal Kanti Dutta has passed away.

He was 77.

He breathed his last yesterday (July 16) night while undergoing treatment at the Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital in Kishoreganj.

Mrinal Kanti Dutta was an artiste of the Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra (SBBK), the radio broadcasting centre of Bangalis during the country’s Liberation War in 1971.

State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid, MP, expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra artiste and veteran freedom fighter Mrinal Kanti Dutta.

He prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
