Students stage demo at VNSC in city

Staff Correspondent: Admission seekers including students and guardians staged sit in programme at the main campus of Viquarunnisa Noon School and College (VNSC) in the city, demanding scope of admission.  

The students and guardians took position in the main campus of the educational institution on Tuesday morning.

The admission seekers told risingbd.com that they got SMSs in their mobile phones on July 6. According to the SMS, the students came to college to get admitted in VNSC. But, the college authority said that the fixed seats were filled up. So, there is no more scope to get admitted.

Following the matter, the agitated admission seekers and guardians took position in front of college gate.

At one stage, the students blocked the roads. Later, police rushed to the spot and clear the roads. The admission seekers were seen in the area till filling the report.
