‘Nijer Bolar Moto Ekta Golpo Foundation’ celebrates 1000th day

With an aim of creating entrepreneurs on specific topics online every 90 days, a complete free training platform named “Nijer Bolar Moto ekta golpo” for 4 lakh people in 11 batches was organised across the country to mark the 1000th day of the organisation.

Entrepreneurial trainees of the organisation celebrated the day simultaneously in 64 districts of the country as well as in 50 countries of the world.

The event was presided over by Iqbal Bahar Zahid, founder and president of the organization. CEO of IPDC Finance Momin U Isalm, Secretary General of Bangladesh Association of call center and outsourcing Towhid Hossain, Baristar Sayedul Haque Sumon and others were present at the event as guest.

Besides, the advisory board of the organisation, the heads of the tech companies of the country, workers of various social and cultural organisations, journalists, some successful entrepreneurs of a storytelling platform, volunteering team of Dhaka district and others were present to greet the day. DC, UNO, officials of the Department of Social Services, dignitaries of the society took part at the event from different districts of the country.

A different matter was organised at the event, where 14 young people from eight divisions of Bangladesh who are not in a good financial position but dream of becoming an entrepreneur, 140 entrepreneurs of this platform together gave 14 products worth Tk 20,000 each for 6 months to fulfill their entrepreneurial dream.

Iqbal Bahar, founder of the organisation, has made a 1,000-day history of free training workshops for four million young people, according to the organisation's news release. “Not only in Bangladesh, but in the whole world, no one has done any training workshop for free with specific content every day for 1000 days in a row! Today, September 30, marks the 1000th day of his online training,” he said.

Iqbal Bahar said, “A total of 400,000 youths, including expatriate Bangladeshis from 64 districts and 50 countries of Bangladesh, have been provided with 360 contents in 11 batches for 90 consecutive days for free training without any fee on entrepreneurship, value, volunteering and 10 skills.”

“Training has been imparted from our platform. Meet-ups and offline activities are going on every week. In the last two and a half years, about 1200 online and offline meet-ups have been held across the country and abroad,” he further said.

The foundation's “Weekly Online Haat” is held every Tuesday, stretching from 9am to 9pm in a row. So far, Tk 4 crore was sold through this online Haat amid this Covid-19 pandemic.
