The government is thinking of opening the country’s all educational institutions (school-college).
Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam told this to the reporters after regular meeting of the cabinet at the Secretariat on Monday (September 14).
He said, “The matter of opening schools and colleges and holding examinations has been left to the concerned ministry. Because, there is no more major situation of imposing restrictions centrally. That's why I had spoken in Germany 10 to 12 days ago, they are opening everything. Though infections are being detected, but how long can it be closed? So, we left the matter to the concerned ministry. The ministry will take a quick decision.”
He further said, “The Education Ministry and Primary and Mass Education Ministry are separately thinking of opening the educational institutions. They will take a decision soon in this regard.”
