Prize giving ceremony of Walton-Dhaka Tribune World Cup Cricket Quiz held

The prize giving ceremony of the Walton-Dhaka Tribune World Cup Cricket Quiz was held at the Dhaka Tribune office in the capital’s Panthapath Wednesday.

Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC’s Senior Deputy Executive Director Rabiul Islam Milton, Additional Operative Director Augustin Sujan and Senior Deputy Director Abdullah Al Mamun were present during the prize giving ceremony alongside Dhaka Tribune Executive Editor Reaz Ahmad, HR & Admin Manager Md. Fazlee Rabbi, Sr. Executive (Administration) Md. Razib Hossain, Head of Advertising (Pvt) Shamsul Areefin and Joint Editors, Sports, Ali Shahriyar Amin and Fazley Rabbi Moon.

Akramul Haque won the first prize - Walton Refrigerator - of the first round while Nurul Huda clinched the first prize - Walton 43 inch LED TV - of the second round.

The other first round winners are accordingly (from ninth to second) – Rabeya from Dhaka, Meem from Dhaka, Jilani Rakib from Gazipur, Kohinoor from Dhaka, Shahina Akter from Shahjahanpur, Sharika from Mohakhali, Abdullah from Mohakhali and Tanzila from Feni.

The other second round winners are respectively (from ninth to second) – Kawser from Motijheel, Masrafi from Chauddagram, Moman from Noakhali, Aklima from Comilla, MA Hamid from Farmgate, Tanvir Mahmud from Dhaka, Abdullah Al Mamun from Motijheel and Rafia from Dhaka.

The two rounds of quizzes were run in Dhaka Tribune’s daily newspaper throughout the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup India 2023.
