The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday (April 27) banned Umar Akmal from all cricket for three years.
Umar Akmal was handed the three-year ban from all cricket by the Chairman of the Disciplinary Panel Justice (retired) Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan for his two breaches of PCB's anti corruption code.
The decision was formally revealed by the PCB through its social media pages following his hearing with the panel at the National Cricket Academy at the Gadaffi Stadium in Lahore.
