SUST to unveil book on sustainable social dev

The unveiling ceremony of the book 'Social Work and Sustainable Social Development' published by the Department of Social Work, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, will be held on February 10 (Wednesday).

Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Farid Uddin Ahmed will be present as the chief guest on occasion.

The book is based on 23 papers, presented at the first International Conference on Social Work and Sustainable Social Development, organized by the Department of Social Work.

Head of the department Professor Ismail Hossain said, for the first time in the history of social work in Bangladesh, our university organized an international conference on 'Social Work and Sustainable Social Development'. We have published this book in its continuation. I hope this book will play an effective role in social work education in Bangladesh.
