Lawyers have a role in reducing cases: Chief justice

Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan said the legal profession is a noble profession. Lawyers have a role to play in reducing the cases.

The Chief Justice said this while inaugurating a restroom ‘Naykunja’ for the people seeking legal assistance at the Rangpur court on Thursday (May 23).

He said this profession should be used for the welfare of the country. Special attention should be given to settle the cases in a speedy time.

Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan also said that the right to law and justice is the fundamental and constitutional right of every person.

Rangpur Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mobasher Hasan and other top officials of the district attended the function.
