Mohibullah murder: ‘Killing squad’ member Azizul among 4 held

A ‘killing squad’ member named Azizul Haque and three others have been arrested in connection with the murder of Mohibullah, chairman of Arakan Rohingya Society for Peace and Human Rights (ARSPHR).

Cox’s Bazar 14 Armed Police Battalion (APBn) arrested them.

One shooter gun and one round fresh cartridge have been recovered from their possession.

According to the information provided by Azizul, Mohibullah murder killing mission was completed within two minutes. Killers brought Mohibullah outside his house at night as he talked about the Rohingya repatriation. Then as per the plan, he was shot to death.

Cox’s Bazar 14 Armed Police Battalion (APBn) Commander SP Naimul Haque came up with the information while briefing reporters on Saturday (October 23).

Mohibullah was shot to death by miscreants on September 29 night. He was a resident of Lombashia East-West Camp in Ukhia of Cox’s Bazar.
