Bangladesh to receive IMF loan’s 3rd instalment in June

Finance Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali said that the third installment of the loan from the IMF of 4.7 billion dollar will be available this June.

The minister said this while addressing reporters after a meeting with Dr Krishnamurthy V Subramanian, Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund at the secretariat office on Sunday noon (May 26).

He also said that we are trying to increase the flow of dollars. There are a lot of negotiations here. We are hoping to solve this problem.

In reply to a question regarding the 3rd installment of the IMF he said they will send that. There is no barrier.
